Volvo provides ten Volvo C30 Electric cars with delivery start during the autumn.
- Interaktionsbyrån has been involved in the user interface design!

“Ten cars will be delivered starting this autumn. The Volvo C30 Electric is a natural part of our focus on DRIVe products, with the aim of promoting a sustainable society. We are happy with the cooperation with Göteborg Energi. What is more, it’s happening in Volvo’s home town of Göteborg,” says Lennart Stegland, director of the Volvo Car Corporation’s Special Vehicles division.

UXcamp Europe will be taking place in Berlin 2010

Interaktionsbyrån is country ambassadors in Sweden for the UXcamp Europe that will be taking place in Berlin on the 29th and 30th May 2010.

Taking the lead from the hugely successful UXcamp Berlin 2009, we have decided to extend our borders and create an international event. The focus of the event will be:

* Information Architecture
* Interaction Design
* Usability Engineering
* Visual Design
* Prototype Engineering
* UI developer

This BarCamp-rule does not mean everybody has to do a Session, but everybody should come prepared to participate in an active manner. Be proactive, YOU are the UXcamp! We want this event to cover the breadth of Europe and take a full international focus and we’re relying on each attendee to help make it so. You’re probably not going to want to miss this!

Exibeas product Elviz (Electricity Visualizer) is an energy monitoring device that provides consumers with direct feedback on the household’s electricity consumption. Increased awareness through direct feedback leads to an increased propensity to save electricity, and thereby to lower energy consumption. Field tests in UK have resulted in 13-15% less electricity consumption. If all households used the ELVIZ technology and fully achieved its savings potential, we could avoid emitting 276 million tonnes of CO2 by 2020.

Volvo Penta is launching their new cockpit display - a true information center for the boat. Interaktionsbyrån worked with this project with Volvo Penta since 2007 from idea to production.

This makes Volvo Penta world leading when it’s comes to interactive technologies in vessels.

Hello from Frankfurt!

In collaboration with Volvo Cars, Interaktionsbyrån visited Frankfurt to look into the future. Best in show was the Renault Zoe Z.E. Concept - a small electrical car with an interactive avatar. Another electric car to watch out for is Riva from India!

It will be an exciting journey.

Interaction Designers Night in Berlin

Interaktionsbyrån goes to Berlin in November. Join us on our Interaction Designers Night.

Every THIRD THURSDAY of the month Swedish Interacion Designers meet and mingle over a drink in the cities Gothenburg, Stockholm, Uppsala or Malmö. It’s a free event open for everyone with a connection to Interaction Design. We mingle with co-workers from different areas and chat about our passion - Interaction design.

The THIRD THURSDAY mingle will now be held in Berlin for one evening in November. Everyone are invited to join us at ÏMA’le cafe in ÏMA Design Village where the event will be held. You don’t have to to register or sign up. Just Drop by after work!
